The IDDRC@WUSTL Gene Database was originally developed by Dr. Tychele Turner as a strategy for facilitating collaborations across individuals in the IDDRC@WUSTL Model Systems Core and in the IDDRC@WUSTL Clinical – Translational Core. The database aggregates gene-related information from six different databases at Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL). It serves as a connector of these databases with two major objectives including: 1) helping people get where they want to go (e.g., researcher identify patients, clinician identify functional experts) and 2) to establish new connections on campus. The database is currently maintained by Angela Keith as part of the IDDRC@WUSTL Clinical – Translational Core. Currently, the IDDRC@WUSTL database is only available to members of the WUSTL community. |
